About the Role

The Hospitality Marketing Assistant supports the Sales & Product Innovation Coordinator in executing tactical marketing initiatives that amplify the visibility of SMG, Bahamas Experience Tours (BET), and Miramar Transportation Services (MTS) across digital, print, and in-person channels. This role contributes to content creation, brand consistency, guest engagement, and campaign logistics, ensuring an exceptional brand presence within the luxury tourism and transportation sector.

As the Accountant, you will:

Create and schedule digital content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp Business, LinkedIn, and email. Assist in the production and editing of tour-related videos, promotional reels, and marketing graphics.
Coordinate and implement marketing campaigns for tours, affiliate programs, and guest promotions. Monitor calendars, track key dates, and ensure timely rollout. Support campaign analysis in collaboration with the Coordinator.
Uphold brand guidelines across all materials including flyers, signage, uniforms, and digital content. Ensure design and messaging consistency that aligns with brand standards.
Assist in the design, ordering, and distribution of brochures, welcome cards, business cards, and branded merchandise. Coordinate with print vendors and internal teams to maintain supply at key locations such as cruise ports and hotels.
Implement guest engagement strategies including surveys, QR code tools, and feedback collection. Prepare branded tools (e.g., thank-you cards, photo props) to enhance loyalty and referral efforts.
Input and maintain prospect data, campaign participation records, and affiliate contact logs in the CRM system. Support mailing list segmentation and automated communications.
Assist in collecting tourism and competitor insights. Monitor market trends and regional developments. Summarize findings to inform campaign strategies and creative planning.
Support event setup and material distribution for cruise activations, affiliate presentations, and hospitality fairs. Prepare and transport signage, kits, and promotional materials. Coordinate staffing needs with internal departments.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in marketing, hospitality, or tourism environments with a strong emphasis on customer engagement and visual content creation.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in social media platforms, Canva, Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with CRM systems. Experience using basic video editing tools is an asset.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a passion for storytelling and guest engagement.

  • Ability to balance creativity with data analysis to optimize marketing content and engagement strategies.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments and maintain professionalism with partners, vendors, and colleagues.
