About the Role
Miramar Transportation Services (MTS), a division of Symonette’s Marketing Group (SMG), is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to oversee the coordination of our luxury transportation fleet. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities to ensure seamless daily operations.
As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for managing driver assignments, tracking vehicle movements, and ensuring the highest level of efficiency in fleet logistics. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and have a passion for logistics, we want to hear from you!
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and dispatch drivers to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Monitor and adjust scheduling in real time to optimize vehicle utilization.
- Communicate with drivers, operations teams, and clients to facilitate smooth logistics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges as they arise.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Utilize dispatching software and GPS tracking systems for route planning and efficiency.
- Support customer service excellence, ensuring all guest interactions meet high standards.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional certifications in logistics, transportation, or fleet management are a plus.
1-3 years of experience in dispatching, fleet coordination, or transportation logistics.
Experience in tourism, hospitality, or customer service is an advantage..
Skills & Competencies:
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in dispatching software, GPS tracking, and scheduling tools (preferred).
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
A customer service mindset with strong attention to detail.
